The MDs are all very knowledgeable and excellent with the children. Dr Draker is amazing, willing to work with us financially with no health insurance so the kids received the care they needed. The medical well being of the kids is definitely his first priority. Unfortunately, the secretarial staff and administration is of serious concern. They are hired with little regard for their background and my childrens medical records and privacy were compromised. I think this doctors office is a great place, everyone is very friendlt. I like that is open on weakends also. We just came to this practice about six months ago, and in this time my 8 year old got diagnosed with a blood disorder, Dr. Draker sat with me and explained the blood disorder and took over her case sence he is the only one in the practice that has dealt with it, He has told me to call at any time with any questions, and he always calls back and answers them if he isnt around to take the call.
My daughter has been bringing my granddaughter to Summerwood for a few years now, and am amazed by the extreme caring and efficiency of the staff. My granddaughter actually loves to go there! After indifferent pedicatrians and staff, who were constantly rotating at her previous Liverpool pediatrian business, Summerwood was a refreshing change. We just returned to this office from a 4 year relocation, love the new building! Many new staff faces. I was very pleased with the initial phone inquiry, as I had a sick child that needed to be seen ASAP and we were easlily accepted back into the practice without a lot of paperwork or any kind of hassle and was seen within 2 hours of calling! Glad to be back, time will tell on the new staff...
