Don’t ever go to this hospital!! Speaking from experience. They care nothing about their patients
I would not recommend this hospital. Staff is not trained. They called me and asked me to arrive early due to a surgery cancellation. I went in @8:30am. Laid in recovery all day and FINALLY got to my room at 5:30pm. (apparently they move beds from hospital to hospital DAILY as demanded) the overbooked hospital and did not have a bed for me. Once in room, nurse told me not to get constipated, but served tapioca, instant potatoes and green jello for supper!!! AYFKM? I threw it in trash and said ‘bring me salad and prune ju... read more

August 21, 2025 GRADY DURHAM I Was in the Austin Heart Hospital for a double by pass and replace a value. After surgery I was on the second floor ICU for 5 days. I would like to Thank ever one on that floor for all their kindness and support, but most of all they were like Angles from Heaven. I have never had any one take such great care of me as they all did. In those 5 days I never once pushed the red button for a nurse.
