Betty my African Gray Parrot loves Summertree. They do a great job on her beak and nails, it's like going for a day at the spa.
My hedgehog loved his visit here! Dr. Murry was so good with him, and the receptionist was very nice and helpful. They addressed my concerns as well as gave him a full checkup for any and all issues that hedgehogs run into. I will definitely take him back here! The hours are also great, as I work in Fort Worth and don't make it back to Dallas until 6:30. I would recommend this place to anyone with an exotic pet!
The people here are absolutely fantastic. My baby had parvovirus. Thanks to Dr. Hays and the staff he is still with me, going strong, 5 years later. I drive over an hour to see them in Dallas. This is the only place I will bring my fur babies!! Thank you for everything Dr. Hays, Dr. Curfman, and the entire staff!
I came to Summertree after trying several exotic vets in the metroplex for my Leopard Gecko. Though out of my way, I would never take an exotic to another vet again. Dr. Curfman and the rest of the staff were so kind and gentle with my gecko - something I didn't get from any of the other practices I went to. Unfortunately, I experienced euthanizing a pet with them as well, but they handled it with the utmost respect and empathy.
