Summers Plumbing, Heating and Cooling has a wonderful program that checks you home utilities every year as the season approaches for that utility. They recently called and came out check our cooling system (air conditioning). Andrew was our cooling technician. He was very kind and was attentive to all our questions. He did a thorough job of checking the air conditioner unit. He even cleaned the coils and the outside of the unit, checked the coolant, found a bad capacitor and replaced at a decent fee. I've been a customer of Summers Plumbing Heating and Cooling for two years, and I'm always impressed by their technicians. On June 7th, I had the pleasure of meeting Shaun Thompson, one of their technicians. His "good old-fashioned manners" were highly impressive and somewhat of a rarity. Shaun thoroughly explained the service he was about to perform for me and later showed me pictures of his work and anything that needed addressing. Called Summers to come out due to an air conditioner not cooling. The first guy came out and told me that I had a leak and I would have to call to make a second appointment. The second guy came out and investigated where the leak was coming from. He told me I would have to make another appointment to have it fixed. Finally the third guy came, told me it would only take 20 minutes or so and fixed the leak. Of coarse there was a charge each time they came out. Tried calling their 24/7 hotline at 7:50am today as my AC is having issues. woke up to a 78 degree house with the temperature in the 90s today in my area. Talked to Tamisha who took my information and then got tripped up on if this was an "emergency." I responded that, "Well, I have no AC and it is 78 degrees inside my house and it is supposed to be in the 90s today, I have two young children, under 2 here in the house as well, I don't know if that counts as an emergency but I would like to someone to come look/service my AC... read more

My furnace was due for a yearly check-up and was fortunate to have Jeff and James perform the work. Both were knowledgeable, friendly, polite and respectful. They are both A+ in my books and are an asset at Summers. Well done guys!!
