The innkeeper was very welcoming and clearly wanted to be helpful. At check-in, there was a great deal of information shared, which made the process feel longer than it needed to be after a day of traveling. A brief overview with additional information available in a welcome packet or booklet might make the arrival experience more relaxing. Rooms & breakfast are exactly what you’d expect at a two-star hotel. Relaxing outdoor garden to sit in.
The Summer's Inn was a hidden gem of Ludington! I'm not one for a one-story stay, but this place was a wonderful surprise with a clean space, super friendly staff, and beautiful grounds. There was a cute indoor space with mood lighting, books, and quiet entertainment. In addition, the serene outdoor space had twinkle light lanterns, a patio with a pergola, and a koi pond all while surrounded with beautiful, picturesque hydrangeas and flowery landscapes. Very quaint.
Very nice place to stay. Accommodations are great, very clean and close to downtown. Staff and management are exceptional and friendly. Highly recommended!!
