I initiated contact with Dr. Rana via an online appointment request. His office did get back to me the next day but called at the exact opposite of the time I requested. Initially it seemed impossible to get through to a live person. I gave up seeking an appointment for a week or two but glad I called back and found calling early in the morning was the solution. Dr. Rana performed a total knee replacement on my left knee, which was complicated by a previous tibia fracture. From our first meeting, I was impressed by his exceptional bedside manner. I had a robotic assisted total knee replacement with Dr Rana. As a retired Orthopaedic Surgeon, I chose Dr Rana because of his knowledge, experience and clear attention to detail. The pre op planning went smoothly as there are lots of details. Mine was done as an outpatient at the Tarzana facility. Very positive experience. Post op treatment has done well and I am please with the results. I would strongly recommend Dr Rana as a joint replacement surgeon.
