45 Minute Wait - with Reservation - – I have been to Sullivan's on several ocassions and I am in love with it. Having said that, my wife and I had a 8:45 reservation and was not seated until approximately 9:15. The hostess were terribly rude. However, the Maitre'd, made up for the rudeness by offering my wife and I a "make-up" dinner, on the house. The blue cheese dressing on the lettuce wedge is to die for! Good place to meet – Preparing for an evening on the town? Well, Sullivan's is the place to get it started. With a reasonably priced bar menu (several tasting portions for $9.95) and some interesting choices for dinner, start your night at the bar while listening to live Jazz. Their blue cheese chips are amazing. A good place to go before you head out. Plenty of seating around the bar area and outdoor dining.
Had Better – Heard rave reviews about Sullivan's, but when I finally tried it I have to say it was just average. I have had better filets at other steakhouses, and for the same price or cheaper I would go back to them first.
VP – Excellent restaurant, great service and food! Ask for the library. The main floor of the restaurant can be noisy.
Great Place!! – Went there first time by accident...but put it tops on my list now. If you want a place for a great meal for a special occasion...this is it!. Been there about 8 times now...never a bad meal. Great service, great food, can't be beat.
overall - not too good. – several weeks ago we ate at Sullivans. The food and table service was really good. BUT we had made 8:15 pm reservations. We were not sat at our table until 9:30 pm!!!! I NEVER expected that from the caliber of what we thought this restaurant would be. If we had plans following, they would ahve been runined.
mcharr – I took my father for a dinner out. We had been to other good resturants like Morton's and this one was verysimilar to the extent that it provided excellent service, great steaks and great cocktails. There seemed to be a little more creativity in the entrees but I wouldn't trade out one for the other. It makes a nice change to get over to Sullivans's for a change.
Dining at it's finest – It was time for our anniversary and I wanted something that would compliment our evening out. After having just recently visited Cabernet in Atlanta, and The Palm in Charlotte, I wanted another place with the same quality and atmosphere.
