Myzlou I have been going to Sula's on N Peachtree Rd for going on two years now and they are the best. Like one person said, there is a wait sometimes and other times you can get in right away. Alex does my hair and they use good products as well.
My First Dominican Appointment I have been hearing about Dominican stylist but have never gone to one. Some views are good and others not so good. I have a friend who has been going for some years now and her hair is very long and healthy. (No perms) She recommends me over and over that I go and at least twice a month... Okay, okay, I'm going to tomorrow, Sula's Hair Beauty Salon, will let you know my opinion/results.
Need some style Overall, my experience with this salon was good. My hair was really straight and felt nice. The only problem I had was the styling or lack there of. My hair is a neck length so I guess its easier for them to style longer hair.
Sula's Dominican Hair Salon-Best Dominican hair salon in town! I have taken my daughter to many Dominican hair salons in metro Atlanta only to be disappointed with the results. See, my daughter is following me and growing her relaxer out but she still likes the straight look and a pressing comb just won't work for her. BURNT SCALP/OWNER'S BAD TEMPER After I politely called the owner of this salon Sulamita Palmer for an overpriced color job that was terribly done just 2 days prior. She angrily asked me to meet her at the salon. There, she greeted me as if she wanted to fight. Sula started screaming obscenities at me while her friend was trying to calm her down. We were all confused, including her own entourage.. My husband and I left, without her ever offering to fix my hair nor reimburse me.. I have heard all over town how confrontational ... read more
NEVER RETURNING I started going to this salon back when it was Perfect Hair Salon...the owner Ada always took beautiful care of my hair and people always asked where I got my hair done. Ada had to go on leave and when I came back the salon was Sula's. They did a pretty decent job getting my hair straight but they cannot style hair. I made the mistake of walking in before a trip out of town and asking for a touch up... Sula's Hair Beauty Salon I really like this salon, my mother and I have gone here a few times and have been pleased with our hair everytime. I love these dominican women, they do an excellant job with the blow out. I have heard from others that Sula does an excellant job with weave.
