Typically a really good experience. Unfortunately, the elevators were down due to upgrades/repairs. After a day of traversing hills in SF it was a challenge getting back to our suite on the 3rd floor. Privileged concerns for sure, but considering we budgeted all year for this trip with our kids who live outside the home, carrying luggage and climbing hills to get to the suites each day would have been welcomed if the elevators were working.
Great amenities, clean rooms and super friendly and helpful staff. This was the best location for a first time visit to San Fran. I wish we had stayed longer to take advantage of the well stocked kitchen and the great rooftop patio with a view of Alcatraz and the bay. There is a cable car stop in front of the door. Fisherman’s wharf, Lombard St. and Ghirardelli square are only a few blocks away. Highly recommended!
Our home away from home. Perfect location, walking distance from Ghirardelli’s, The Buena Vista, fisherman’s wharf’s, Lombards Street and more. A block away from the trolley, you can see the trolley off the street, it stops right in-front of the resort. Our spacious recently renovated one bedroom suite includes a king size bed, beautiful bathroom, large dining and living room area, a well equipped full kitchen, and a nice balcony. There is also a rooftop terrace which offers spectacular views, including Alcatraz Island. The employees are very nice and gladly answer any questions. Also, there are plenty of public transportation options at the hotel's entrance. I would definitely stay at this resort again!
