Sugarloaf is an old vineyard located directly o the shoreline of Lake of the Ozarks. We no longer offer wine tasting or food but still do provide kayak rentals and launching from our lakeshore picnic grounds. We also have nightly vacation rental homes on property. We just happened across this wonderful place and couldn't be happier. I was looking for something to do with just me and my son, who is 11. This was perfect for us! The grounds were beautiful and the owners were awesome. This was the first time kayaking for both of us and we will definitely be back!!!
What a beautiful place to go kayaking. First time ever for our group of 4 to go kayaking. Scenery was was amazing, water was very calm, was even able to kayak into a cave. Rental was very inexpensive at 25.00 for 4 hr each. Owners are very pleasant and informative. Will for sure visit again.
We stayed at the Chardonel cabin and absolutely loved it! The owners were very welcoming and had great hospitality while respecting our privacy! Would come back a million times over ! Such a beautiful property and kayaking around the lake just topped it off ! Thank you so much Barb and Ward, hope to see you again ..
Wonderful owners paired with a beautiful and relaxing setting. I found it a great place to paint the landscape with a nice view of the bluffs. Look forward to my next return.
So sorry to see this place is closed. It was our favorite winery at the lake. So sad�

We love Nanci and her husband they make coming to Sugarloaf a fun experience every time. They are the heart and soul of the winery they are always they greet you with a smile and the food is always top notch!
Enjoyed wine and cheese after golf with friends. Beautiful setting and atmosphere.
