Visited from London, and during our stay in Beverly Hills we tried many local restaurants most of which were fantastic. Unfortunately, Sugarfish was a major disappointment in both food quality and service. My fiancée and I ordered Sake, which never arrived, even after we reminded the server 15 minutes later. The sushi is incredible. We get the trust me selection everytime and its great to just order and get exactly what you need. We had excellent service by our server Franchesca who catered to our time needs (we had a concert to go to soon after our meal). The rice i believe is experimental as its slightly warm and so so tasty

SUGARFISH on Canon Drive delivers consistently high quality sushi with clean fresh flavors and a simple elegant style. The set menus are well balanced and everything arrives perfectly prepared. The restaurant feels calm and comfortable and the service is polite and efficient. It is a great place for anyone who wants reliable excellent sushi without unnecessary fuss.

Food is really very good. I love the nigiri and the specials are always a delight. Service can be perfect or clumsy and inattentive, depending on the server. Having plates banged down in front of me with a vague mumble of what's on them is not very pleasant. The atmosphere at the BH one is non-existent, and as in several Sugarfish restaurants the acoustics are really mediocre, even when it's nearly empty.
