james is the bomb! these guys are the creme of the crop. cant be beat...absolutly fantastic talents that makes the people in our community feel and look great! there just isnt enough that can be said to help expose this local treasure to the world.
Kristen ROCKS!!!! When I lived in Bremerton/Port Orchard, there was only ONE stylist I would even think of going to. Her name is Kristen Krueger Marquis, and she is at sugardaddys!!! Kristen is one word, PHENOMENAL. My hair has never looked better, and I've even gotten it done at some of the most expensive "Beverly Hills" type salons in Palm Springs since then. I wish I could take her with me everywhere I go in the military. Kristen is the BEST!!!!!!! Go to sugardaddys!!!!
Great atmosphere, friendly & talented staff! I recently just moved here form Los Angeles and was in dire need of a new hair salon in Port Orchard. I was doing some internet research and found that Sugar Daddy's Salon was right up my alley! I called them right away and they were nice enough to squeeze in both my sister and I. Trust no one else with your hair! As a regular customer of 3 years, it would be safe to say that Sugar Daddy's and all of its stylists know what they are doing, and are very good at it. The salon itself is great, with a relaxed, laid back feel. The stylists are very friendly and cater to every hair-related need of the customer. James, the owner, sat down for 5 minutes with me in order to find the perfect hairstyle on his iPhone in order to make sure I found the hairstyle I really wanted (I did!). Reasonable, professional- great experience! I recently moved to P.O. and randomly picked this salon out of the phone book- so glad i did- I had a great experience. They got me in quick- usually I expect to wait 10 minutes or more, but she (Billy) was ready to start. Very professional and enthusiastic. She took the time to explain my options and share opinions. : ) I have had my last three haircuts @ SugarDaddy's Salon with Billy! She is fantastic, funky and very professional! The prices are very reasonable, too! Plus, the staff is very personable. I love the atmosphere...especially the music. I HIGHLY recommend this salon.
response to cari's perm review First off, what Cari forgets to mention in her tirade is she had put a home relaxer in her hair a little over a year ago and thats why the mid-shaft and ends did not take to the perm. We did a strand test to ensure there was no sodium hydroxide in the relaxer she used. That test will not show if the perm would take or not. skip the rest as with most things in kitsap there is a void of quality. the same can be said for the "upscale" salons and spas, EXCEPT Sugardaddy's. completely professional and sooo much fun. the last thing i care about is the decor but james has an eye for the cool side of everything. prices are in line with the quality.
Avoid at all cost I went to Sugardaddy's for a perm, and left 2 hours later with barely curled hair that just straightened out as I drove home. I contacted the salon as soon as I returned home, and several times afterward, but they continually tell me that all they will do is redo the perm. If they did it wrong the first time, and I do believe they did after getting several other salon owners opinions, I do not trust them to do it again. Seems reasonable, no? I will even show them the mess James made of my hair for a refund.... read more
