Disclaimer - this was 5 years ago, so I have no idea what current practices are. However, I went in for a Brazilian sugar wax. Obviously my first one so I expected a bit of a reaction, but I bruised SO badly. Everything was black and the tech said bruising was normal. I've now learnt from going elsewhere, bruising is NOT normal. I'd highly recommend to read reviews before booking. I wish I had left a review at the time but I was young and embarrassed.
