I did not deserve to be treated the way I was at my appointment today. No one does. Granted, I could not at first specifically describe or clearly recall the pain/issue that caused my regular dentist to refer me some 6 months ago (which I expressed honestly and with some embarrassment as the pain had subsided), but the bullying, condescending, and abusive response of Dr. Dugas was neither justified nor appropriate. Claims to be the best. But didn't perform the procedure properly.
The staff were all friendly and courteous and respectful. Dr Dugas was thorough in her explanation of the procedure, my father was very pleased with his experience there.
Dr. Dugas saved my molars a few years ago and I couldn't be more grateful. She and her staff were friendly and professional, the office was clean and bright, and I haven't had any problems with her work. I am thrilled to go back and see her and her staff, even though it is for more root canals. Dr. Dugas is a no-nonsense person who tells it like it is, which isn't always well received, but I think she's a breath of fresh air, personally. She says what she means and means what she says.
