This is a typical soulless, joyless day of the year, typical suburban warehouse of a building. Why there is an additional charge to park for an event that required the purchase of tickets is offensive. This venue will have a finite lifespan, I predict.
The worst venue I have ever been to. Especially for a college graduate commencement. Lousy traffic flow into the venue. Not enough people on hand for collection of parking fee. Traffic was backed up for miles! Once inside, poor directions to our event. The scrapbookers were easier to find. The party DJ in the attached Hotel ballroom was so loud it completely ruined the graduation ceremony. Couldn't hear or understand the speakers due to lousy sound system and/or sound technician. I can't support a place that allows animals to be abused for the sake of profit. Stop hosting the Detroit Shrine Circus until they decide to retire their animal acts.
