I have mixed feelings about this visit. On one hand, the food itself actually tasted quite good, but the experience was completely ruined by a major hygiene issue. Midway through my meal, I discovered a live bug crawling on my plate. I immediately alerted the staff and handed the insect over to them. Instead of a professional apology, the cook came out to argue with me, insisting that it was just a 'powdered spice' because he couldn't 'smoosh' it. This is a go to for lunch. It's simple but I always know the food will be great and quick. The menu is quite extension and can appeal to most.
I would rate this as a 3.5. I rounded down because the reviews on average are higher. The service was really good. The restaurant was pretty empty when we came in. We each ordered one of the eggroll appetizers and they were pretty good. I ordered a pad Thai dish and my friend ordered a Mexican plate. The food was good, but not stand out. It is an interesting concept with some significant fusion dishes.
Fantastic food and service! Food is REALLY delicious and good portions with reasonable prices! Finally, I also want to mention about the decoration of this restaurant—supper unique and they did those paintings themselves. Everything about this restaurant is so amazing, would definitely recommend it!!!!
