As a graduate student, living in Styron Square apartments is kinda a perk, because usually you can’t afford nice things until after you graduate. But, since I have a (good) roommate and the price is fair, I can! When friends come over to visit, the coolest part, though, is walking into the lobby, with couches, good lighting, and we literally have a doorman (James)! 🥇IS THERE A "DOORMAN OF THE YEAR" AWARD???🥇 TV’s 1974 comedy sitcom RHODA may have had their hilarious "Carlton, the Doorman"….. BUT Styron Square Apartments has the BEST of the BEST when it comes to ALL Doormen!!! I have lived in my Styron Square apartment for over 5 years and I believe one of the best things about this two building apartment complex is the friendly and reliable Doorman, James Bielmann. Shortly after moving here, I had a medical emergency and ended up in the hospital for 4 days. I had no one to take care of my 15 year old cat so I texted James from my hospital bed and asked him to feed and watch over my cat. These apartments could be great, but they simply aren’t, due to extremely poor management. The location is convenient, safe, and surrounded by trees with nice sidewalks for walking. They also have balconies and some relatively spacious floorplan options. The quaint location is what drew me to these apartments. I’ve lived here for two years. The first year was fine because I rarely had to deal with management or maintenance. Nice area communication sucks. When arriving I had one resident state they had issues with water bugs. There was another resident complaining how that the workers at leasing office gave her parking spot away to someone else. The third person told me how someone was working at the leasing office previously stealing people’s rent money. I have not personally faced any of these problems however just the issue with communication.
