What an amazing place! We took our 5 year old today to get her hair braided. First salon visit! Kara did a fantastic job. I highly recommend for any transracial family!
Styles 4 Kidz is a unique and wonderful salon, a place that cares about connectedness and belonging in addition to producing beautiful hair styles. The stylists are kind and welcoming; they are not just trained in hair, but also trauma-informed care. If you are taking your kid for their first style, this is absolutely the place to go. On top of serving as a salon, Styles 4 Kidz is a nonprofit that provides hair care education to caregivers. I feel really fortunate to have Styles 4 Kidz in my community.

Spanish guy here who adopted my daughter. I had no idea on how to care for her hair. They not only they braided her hair but also taught me the ins and outs of hair prep and care. I would be lost without them.
The stylists are very knowledgeable and willing to help overwhelmed parents with hair care. They actually teach classes so parents know how to care for hair. Our child had damaged hair when we started working with Tameika. It is not just a salon, but also a welcoming community. Our child goes between flattening and braiding with stylists excellent with both styles.
