Not for me. Not kid friendly. Feels sterile. Staff was polite. Food was meh at best. I make better coffee at home bth. The scones was meh. Definitely a place to do work, as most people here were.
Meh. Sad that PDX prefers to represent with nasty under-roasted coffee served super slow with a side of hipster attitude. Trendy disappointment in a paper cup if you ask me. I’d prefer community minded baristas and real coffee. This ain’t my place. Sucks this is the closest coffee joint near my home, but it’s worth it to walk the extra 10 minutes to common grounds.
I like this place a lot. Service is always good, atmosphere is good, coffee is good too. The one issue I have is the cinnamon rolls. The brioche ones are awesome, BUT they arent always fresh. Its a gamble as to whether or not you get a day old one which youre still paying full price for. I have no issue eating day old pastries, but when im paying 5-6$ for a pastry, it is very disappointing when its stale and dry. This happens probably every other time I go so its not a one off thing.
