I'm a lifer for SG!!! – I went for a few years and because the person who I usually went to was always so booked in advance I decided to go somewhere new. I changed my hair color and went really short. Best place for hair color – I drove all the way from Destin, Florida to get my hair done at Studio Gaven! I love Studio Gaven. Dana Funk was the stylist who worked a miracle on my hair. My hair was about 4 different colors from one bad dye job to the next. Dana spent extra time and fixed what I thought would be a hopeless cause. She is amazing as well as all of the staff there. Jason Kennedy is the best! – Jason Kennedy is fantastic! After having my best friend cut and color my hair for almost ten years, I was unable to get back to Seattle and came to Studio Gaven last week to have my hair cut. WOW! Jayson Morgan is the Best! Great Salon and Atmosphere! – I absolutely loved this place! The girl at the front was very nice. Jayson Morgan took great care of me before my special event. From start to finish the service was fantastic. It was nice to be treated like I was a VIP and not just another body walking in the door. I left with a fantastic color and wonderful cut! DO NOT GO HERE! – After being a customer of Studio Gaven for three years, I decided to find another salon. I was repeatedly dissatisfied with both my haircuts and color at this salon. My stylist did not listen to me at all. I even brought pictures. When I called to tell them I was unhappy, they said their policy was that if you did not call them within 10 days, you had to PAY to have them "fix" what they did to your hair. I told them I called four times and left messages, but no one ever called me back. They are over-priced ... read more
Kudos to Kim Lear – I have very thin hair and have been to numerous salons in Tennessee and NEVER found someone that had the experience to handle my hair till I found Kim Lear at Studio Gavin. Her experience and knowledge of my hair type was right on. She gave me some ideas and I went with it knowing my hair was in her hands. Best haircut I've EVER had – I am super picky about my hair. It's pretty straight with just enough wave to p*ss me off. Amanda Muniz at Studio Gaven is a freakin' genius. Her haircuts are precise, modern and grow out beautifully. I get my hair cut about every 8-9 weeks and it looks great all the way through. RUDEST DAMN PEOPLE in TN! – The girl answering the phone was enough to SCARE me OFF...... MANY of these SNOBY salons are RUDE and DO NOT listen to what the client (the person that pays their bills) WANTS. I WOULD NEVER go to this PLACE EVER. Jason Kennedy is the best – I moved to Nashville one year ago. I have always been extremely particular with my very long hair. After some bad experiences with Aveda Salons, I called Studio Gaven and asked for a "man" who likes to work with long hair. Jason Kennedy was recommended. I loved it and now I continue to go there.
