I love the place and the food is awesome! I had the Monte Cristo and it was Delicious
The new menu is awful...no more pork chops .......
I thought it was a great chicken-fried-steak `n eggs!
Visited San Diego in September and ate 8 of 18 meals there.
I come here pretty often since it's great food at a reasonable price. Staff is normally since nice cool people, but they can get pretty busy making it a little hard to get excellent service. I completely understand it though since they can get overwhelmed.
My family and I love this place I recommend it to everyone great service and great food to top it they were open on Christmas day, will definitely keep coming back!!!
Went there after rave reviews and a friends recommendations ..... So after MNF at qualcomm stadium was over we headed out there excited to eat there. The diner staff was not very welcoming .. . We sat down and 20min later we got a waiter..and drinks.10min later he "let "us order. Not very personable ... as we got our "warm "food ..the waiter never came back to ask how we are doing... if we needed a refill... we felt like we were not wanted: ( we drove 6hrs to enjoy San Diego And to get disappointed with this mess of a diner.... read more

"The diner staff was not very welcoming" ? Sounds pretty much impossible but...did you ask for the Manager on Duty? Why wait 8 days later to address this? I would liked to help WHILE you were here.
