Been going here since the 1960’s with cats 16, 10 & 21 and current dog is 19. Dr. Clyde Pitts the best ever. Would never go elsewhere.

COSTCO OF PET CARE I have been taking my dogs to SCAH for many years. However recently the practice has taken a turn downward. After a remodel which took years to complete. I think the great pyramid in Egypt was built more quickly. The result of the new space is a fragmented space inside and little or no parking outside. The profit motive of its owner forces a very large number of pet owners into a small unworkable space. Add covid to the mix and you have disfunction at every level. Following an extensive investigation, the California Veterinary Board issued Citation #2658-C against Dr. Clyde Pitts, Owner of Studio City Animal Hospital. Dr. Pitts was cited and fined based on findings of 4 counts of Negligence and 8 Violations of Record Keeping, which, according to CA Title 16, Section 2043, "involve a person, who, while engaged in the practice of veterinary medicine has caused death or serious harm to an animal patient." I've taken my parrot and cats here for so many years. Good service. Doctors have all been competent and caring. My bird is disabled and Dr. Pitts (bird owner himself) is particularly good with him. We also really like and trust Dr. Stein.

My review will be posted here since these shady douchebags are hiding all their one star reviews: All of these 5 star reviews are fake .they don't help animals .they just try to trick you and scam you for your money. They purposely make your pet sicker just to get more money from you . You will all burn in hell .Don't support this disgusting and fraudulent place .You fucking piece of shit assholes. FRAUDS! You KILLED my healthy and young cat . Do not come to this place. They do not care about animals, they just want your money. They don't let you come into the room for the check up which is super shady .All the other vets do, and also when they were going to show us my cat, they were being extremely rough and dismissive of his pain by the way the lifted him sky high in the air for no reason. They were just going to lay him on the table so it was so unnecessary them stretching him up while he had a lower back problem .M... read more
