Our experience was great and it was clean and the nail techs were very sweet but I have to say I was disappointed in the gel nails. They filed my nails with a dull file, they didn't buff them, there was no lotion or massage and 50% of my nails were chipped within an hour of being done. We decided to get it because it said shellac and I was told the shellac had gone bad and they only had gel and it was the same thing(which I know its not) so it's only been about 3 days and my nails look a hot mess. I took advantage of the (gel mani AND pedi for $35) groupon, and considering I had never heard of Salon 98 and the groupon was so cheap I was a little nervous about what I was getting myself in to. However, I must say, I'm genuinely impressed. The place was clean and lively, they had fun music playing and I was offered coffee/tea right when I walked in.
