About this business
Metro Detroits Premiere wedding and special event hair salon. We are hair color experts. We perform over 1,000 color services each month. We are the only Metro Detroit hair salon that provides both in salon and location services with out mobile hair and makeup studios. We also handle nail and waxing services. Our facility has ventilated nail tables that expel dust and chemical fumes that are found in many salons. We are one of just a handful of salons that sterilize all nail instruments in a FDA listed Autoclave.

My favorite thing about Studio 9 is that it's a high-end salon, without the attitude; and many of you will know what I'm talking about. I have been seeing Lori from Studio 9 Salon since I was in high school, and I have never been disappointed. In fact, I always end up loving my hair more than I thought I would because Lori takes what I'm looking for and caters it to my personal style and hair type (which is frizzy and curly). This is the best salon around. Jessica is freaking awesome!!! I've been going to her for over 2 years, and I won't let anyone else touch my head ever again. The staff is always really friendly and helpful. The place is always super clean and they offer a little bit of everything. Go there....you won't regret it!!!
I had come to this salon in the past to get my nails done and I had a bad experience so I decided not to come back. Well a few weeks ago I decided to take a chance and go back. I figured it's been a few years so I will go back and get my nails done again. I'm glad I did because my nail tech Mai did a wonderful job. She made my experience very wonderful and I will definitely be coming back again to have her do my nails!!! Such an amazing job Mai!! Thank You
Studio 9 is a large, modern and friendly salon. Holly is excellent at nails. I had a fulls set of acrylics done the day before my wedding. She did a fabulous job and my nails looked beautiful and they lasted a long time. Very professional and hygienic. I went to Natalie to have my hair cut after the wedding. I have been going to Studio 9 for years. Everyone there has always made me feel welcome. My stylist Donna is just great. Not only do I get a great color and cut, but I really enjoy talking with her. I would recommend Studio 9 & Donna to anyone looking for a great hair style and a place to relax and be "pampered".
I've been a client of Melissa's for approximately 11 years and not always at Studio Nine. I am very impressed with many aspects of this salon. The staff is always very pleasant.
