After passing the credit check and having savings, the landlord told us he refused to rent to my wife and I because we don't have $30,000 stored in the bank, AFTER WE HAD ALREADY OFFERED TO PAY THE ENTIRE LEASE UPFRONT. Bear in mind, this is a building that is advertised as low-income, stating that to qualify, applicants must be 65% AMI. The landlord also said that he plans to raise everyone's rent in six months by 10% in, again, a low incoming housing establishment. The Studio7 apartments are great little studio apartments. The buiding and grounds are kept super clean. They have 'Parcel Pending' boxes for deliveries. Management is onsite, and attentive. Some units have a washer/dryer, and there is an onsite laundry. There are storage lockers. You're steps away from the Burke Gilman Trail. UW is a few blocks away. They are pet friendly, and there is a Petco and a Vet, right up the block. I've been here for a little over a year, and there is no garbage, flies, or techs chimping your door.... read more
this place was pretty much everything i expected to, it was great. robin as a manager can be tough to talk to sometimes but she makes sure that everything is taken care of effectively and fairly. i held up my end of the deal and she gave my deposit back in full. when i was locked out she was there asap. i paid $1275 for a studio in 2018-2019 and enjoyed the convenience of the location and rooftop amenities. people have valid concerns in the other reviews so i'd check out all of them. there isn't parking on 7th, so catching r... read more
