My sister and I moved out October 1 2024, I have sent multiple messages to the old manager (Gloria) and the new management company for my $1400 deposit returned and all I have been told within the past year is that someone was looking into it back in January even though I have sent multiple follow up emails because that was all that I was provided! I will be hiring a lawyer to help me. PLEASE DO NOT RENT HERE!!
Moved out last year. We were still under lease for the rest of the month, moved out most of our belongings. Upon going to finish moving and cleaning they changed the locks 3 WEEKS before our lease was up. So we could not get in, they also threw away multiple pairs of shoes on the front and porch. After multiple failed attempts to get back into our apartment to get our belongings we ran into a maintenance guy who helped us. I’ve been experiencing exactly the same situation with another apartment managed by TXA Properties, specifically Gloria Lam. My experience with them was terrible both during and after the lease term. I’m writing here because the property managers, Gloria and Ricardo, have completely stopped responding to any of my attempts to contact them, and I am now seriously seeking help and information. I enjoyed living here for 2 years and had planned to go back in the future. However, like the other 3 reviews shown regarding deposits, I, too, have NOT received my security deposit refund despite leaving the apartment in very good condition, which I documented with pictures. My security deposit should’ve been returned by May 31, 2024 at my new address which I provided at least twice. I’ve contacted Gloria Lam, property manager, but she ghosted me.
