My favorite auto supply This is by far my favorite auto supply store in the area. My family has been coming here from years, starting back when my father was helping us learn to fix cars. The staff at Stuart's is very knowledgable and ready to help. The workers there move quickly to get you out and on your way. They also have a wonderful return policy if things don't work out and you don't need the part.

The best stocked parts store in the Salem area! Stuarts Auto Supply is hands-down the best supplied parts store in the Salem area. Period. Other stores are closer to my home, but I know that Stuarts will have what I'm looking for, and it is usually in-stock. Knechts, Autozone, and Schucks usually have to order parts. Go to Stuarts and make just one trip! PROS: Customer Service. Knowledge. Inventory. Convenience. CONS: none.
Now THAT'S a parts store! Been around Salem over thirty years - Stuarts has been here longer. Don't use them much because I'm out the other side of town, but just called them regarding a special ATF for a 16 month run of a French built GM transmission in my older BMW. I was amazed to see some idiot bitching about a car parts store not carrying an item that really isn't a part for a car but an accessory more often used for camping (hence why GI Joes carrys the item). Great selection of parts My dad always shopped here for his do-it-yourself auto projects so I was familiar with the store. Upon becoming of age many years ago, I've come to discover why. The staff is helpful and they have a great selection.
Whats a Power Inverter? I surfed Google looking for a website to Stuarts Auto Supply.. didn't have one but I clicked on "insiderpages" which had a link for reviews and the next best thing, a phone number to call. Called Stuarts. Asked Larry if he stocked a 400 watt power inverter (thats a little box that typically plugs into a cigarette lighter outlet and converts 12VDC to 120VAC so you can run things like a TV or VCR in a vehicle).
