The Truth I am a 62 year old woman that had gone from a size 18 to less than a 12 at Stroud's Fitness in Hurst. I never felt uncomfortable once; in fact, I felt like one of the family. I recommend this gym to everyone and anyone that has any kind of fitness goals.
JG Great facility that caters to all body types and gender. Kirk and Samm are amazing owners that doesn't forget a member's name after the initial visit. They have a unique chrome 7ft bar that has improved my bench and squat totals by 50% within 2 mos of using it. I have never seen a chrome bar like it! I would recommend this gym to anyone that's serious about fitness.
Like home... These guys understand customer service. Its not a huge gym where you just blend in-- you join and people know your name. The equipment works and is current... they have an amazing circuit and the biggest free-weight workout area I've seen in a gym. There are a lot of power lifters that work out there and that scared me at first... but those guys are really cool and help me when I'm repping my 80lbs on the bench. Great place to work out.
Serious Fitness Center Strouds Fitness Center is not a gym for the casual gym goer. It is a serious gym for those who want to get into shape and build muscles. They have great trainers and staff that can help you achieve the goals you set when wanting to really trim fat and get into shape. This is one serious gym for serious gym members.
