the PERFECT gym In my opinion Stroud's has the perfect atmosphere. They do have a lot of very serious lifters but they are wiling to help out any one that is unsure of the correct form. Kirk and Samm are the nicest people you will ever meet, they are willing to help you out with everything as far as cardio, weight training, diet, and anything else you could possibly ask for. Everyone is very friendly and after about a week of goin there you will feel at home.
Scarey If you aren't a body builder you will not feel comfortable. Even the woman there look like men! I had a trial pass and stuck it out for 3 days. No way would I join there. I am not over weight at all and still I was treated rudely.
Great "Family" Gym From the minute you walk into Stroud's, you feel at home. Once Kirk Stroud meets you, he will call you by your name. Everyone in the gym is very willing to help you out with questions. A definite great place to work-out.
Best Ever I see all types in here, the hard gym hittes and the fluff and stuffs. Everyone is welcome and no one feels uncomfortable...thats because the owners are out of this world. You will never meet finer folks and you can talk to them any time you want. They are there almost everyday to provide you guidance and support.
For ppl serious about fitness Strouds is for the hardcore serious fitness fanatic. You won't find dainty wasps just strutting around looking pretty. Stroud's carries the atmosphere for the driven and intent. The staff is uber friendly and helpful. And you don't have to shy away from asking for a spot from anyone in there. They are all eager to help and answer any questions you may have.Bring your towel, chalk, and weight belt, but leave your cellphone at home.
The Truth I am a 62 year old woman that had gone from a size 18 to less than a 12 at Stroud's Fitness in Hurst. I never felt uncomfortable once; in fact, I felt like one of the family. I recommend this gym to everyone and anyone that has any kind of fitness goals.
JG Great facility that caters to all body types and gender. Kirk and Samm are amazing owners that doesn't forget a member's name after the initial visit. They have a unique chrome 7ft bar that has improved my bench and squat totals by 50% within 2 mos of using it. I have never seen a chrome bar like it! I would recommend this gym to anyone that's serious about fitness.
Serious Fitness Center Strouds Fitness Center is not a gym for the casual gym goer. It is a serious gym for those who want to get into shape and build muscles. They have great trainers and staff that can help you achieve the goals you set when wanting to really trim fat and get into shape. This is one serious gym for serious gym members.
