I found larva in my rug. I picked them out and then sprayed the rug for a few days with Raid and vacuumed frequently. I solved the problem, but when I reached out reported what I had experienced, I was dismissed and treated rudely. I sent an email...ignored. I spoke to someone and they offered no apology or advice about steps to take. I do love the rug, but I will never purchase another from them and that is too bad because I would like a few more rugs for my hardwood floors.

I just received a stroud rug today approx 3x5 olefin. I ordered it cut to size, they call it custom. The rug has no heft, and is thinner than my bath towels. Its weight is ounces, not even a pound. Stroud representative said that I could not return a “custom” rug. I’m sure it says that on their website somewhere but I was so excited for this rug, I trusted that it was going to be a high quality American made rug. I have no idea why there are so many good reviews unless they haven't had the rugs very long. I ordered my rugs November 2020. I ordered them in olefin which is what the company suggested since I have a dog. Less than a year later, the rugs look horrible. There are picks on them and threads coming out. The rugs look like they are twenty years old. I am going to have to replace in the spring. I am sure no one will see this review online. But if you do, BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

The people at Stroud offered outstanding customer service, until I finally received my rugs and tried to contact them with a "complaint" (more like a suggestion). I tried calling and also sent an email...nothing. So my review is as much about the poor customer service as it is about the product. Regarding the rugs, based on Stroud's recommendation I purchased the synthetic fabric for both rugs. We received the rug on Saturday, 29 AUG., 20. I must say that it is more than we expected. Firstly, it arrived well ahead of schedule, and it is gorgeous. The main thing is that my wife is extremely pleased with it. (That makes my life a lot easier. ) If somebody asks me about a good, USA hand-made woven rug, I'll definitely send them to Stroud..

Made in the USA!!!! Fantastic folks who work at Strouds. The turnaround time from selection to delivery of my rugs was very reasonable. Great folks to work with concerning your selection. They send samples of braids to help with the selection. I received the samples in just a few days. I can't say enough good thing about my experience with this USA made company. I will be enjoying my braided rugs for many years to come. Thank you Strouds.
