My sister in law had a procedure there. We were worried about any hassles. They took great care of her and the family. They kept us updated constantly. We were able to be with her before and after the procedure. We were always in the loop. Wonderful experience ....for having a heart procedure.
Awesome nurses and staff
Be VERY careful when seeing a cardiologist at this facility. I had my first visit there for a basic check up because of my family history. The Dr wanted to do an ECG to get a baseline which I did agree to. Two months later I get a bill for $765.00! Centra charged me $300 for a "facility" fee because they consider the Stroobants Heart Center an outpatient facility for VA Baptist. I have been blessed with the kindest treatment, the only thing bad about Centra is their billing system. The care and employees, doctors, nurses & all the rest of Centra employees are angels. I thank God for them!
I had a stress echo test done. Was a bit anxious, but the sonographer, David, and the treadmill technician were both kind, reassuring and knew their stuff. Their professionalism and knowledge combined with their kindness and friendliness enabled me to feel comfortable enough to persevere as the treadmill gradually increased in speed and slope. I really appreciated how the cardiologist, Dr. Warner, explained what the test results showed, and assured me that my heart muscle wall was in good shape.
