After many attempts at physical therapy over many years, this is the first time my hypermobility issues were actually addressed. Kayla has expertise in hypermobile disorders and my joints finally are on the path to stability.
I’m super thankful for Strive and would recommend it to anyone-especially postpartum women. I can’t say enough good things about this place! Abigail was an amazing resource in my postpartum recovery. I looked forward to our sessions, both because of the attention and care she put into my treatment, and because of her upbeat and kind personality. I cannot recommend strive PT enough or thank them enough for quite literally changing my life for the better! Especially if you have chronic illness / pain / injury. I was diagnosed with Ehler’s Danlos syndrome type 3 in 2024 and to have not one, but TWO providers with *extensive* knowledge and experience with this disorder is a godsend. Abigail (pelvic floor) and Kayla (physio) have worked tirelessly to help me keep making progress, educate me, prevent me from injuring myself, and improve my life SIGNIFICANTLY. This office has experts in hypermobility and EDS as well as pelvic PT. That combined skill set is very difficult to find yet so critical for so many people struggling with chronic diseases and pain. The care I receive from Kayla and Abigail at Strive Washington Square is more holistic and helpful than with any other provider I've seen in the last 20 years.
This place is wonderful. I am about to "graduate" from recovering from a shoulder injury (as a tennis player) and Kayla has worked her magic to help me regain strength and flexibility, and I'm back on the court. I know dry needling is a contentious topic, but for me it has worked wonders. Don't hesitate to come to this location if you need high quality PT - they'll get you back to living!
