The ORIGINAL Skate Shop Est. 1887 Strauss Skates and Bicycles has been family owned and serving the St. Paul community since 1887. We are the oldest skate shop, and very likely sporting goods store, in the country.

I had a much better experience looking for a new pair of skates here than at a different skate store. I'm glad one of the skate club members recommended me Strauss Skates, because of their tent sale I was able to afford a beautiful new pair of Riedell skates! The staff was friendly and attentive to my needs despite it being super busy. Will recommend them to everyone!
What you did for my 2 Great Grands by making their special bikes, makes my heart smile. Both Girls have special needs & both have had Heart Transplants. It's going to be a whole new world for them now. Thank you so much. I love this little Video that shows both Madi & Sydney Jo Rippy on their first rides. Jack "The Bike Guy,"they call you a Guru. I will call you a magical genie from the looks on their faces. I love your humility but you had better know you're a gift & He's going to Bless you. Well done.
We love the staff at Strauss and the selection of skates and pads, also all the fun extras we find like summer skates this year!!🏒💓💯
