My son competes in USASA in southern Vermont and half of the competitions are at stratton. After staying at Airbnb’s close by for the first few, we finally decided to stay at the resort for one night. It looked so nice and welcoming....and with less travel time, it meant more sleep! The only room left that was under $1,000/night was a studio with just a Murphy bed and a couch, still not a problem since it was just my son and I. The bed was very comfortable.... My husband took me on a ski get away and we stayed at Hearthstone during a rain storm. The hospitality was INCREDIBLE. We are forever fans of Stratton bc of their customer service, the turn down service and of course the mountain. The terrain was perfect. It rained and they gave us a rain check to use for one year. Housing prices. That is fine. However at 800 a night. Should you. Have to pay for gym and pool Also HBO and cable. No Can't buy movie or HBO No pool at founders Have to pay yo Nordic when all lifts down Etc Go to smugglers or Sunday river
The Mountain consistently has the best possible conditions possible. The lifts are high capacity and trails easy to access. You will not waste time traversing from one end to the other. Great conditions, fast lifts make Stratton hard to beat .

I've felt differently in the past but Stratton, you were very good to us this year. Dad, my lil bro and I had a great time! Please let the record show that not only was the conditions a 9 out of 10 but so were the people. The Green Door Pub is an essential piece of Stratton Village. That place is the initial reason why we chose Stratton over other VT ski mountains availible for good mid week skiing and the green door pub as usual delivered. you are operating at less than 70% capacity after getting more than 30 inches of snow and all your surrounding competitors are at 100%. this place is spiraling. need to unload my pre-paid tickets, because it looks like operations this year are starting where last left.
