I stayed at The STRAT Hotel in Las Vegas from [insert dates] and was charged $850 for a “smoking cleaning fee,” plus they never refunded my $300 incidental deposit, totaling $1,150 in wrongful charges. I do not smoke, and no one in my party smoked in the room. The posted sign listed a $500 maximum fee, but they charged $850. overall negative experience. We were looking forward to a pleasant stay at the hotel, but instead, we were met with billing issues and harassment from the staff. We were even escorted out of the hotel like criminals, which was a humiliating experience for us and our children. We were promised a refund, but then the hotel took the money back. This caused us great distress and embarrassment, and we believe we deserve compensation for the emotional toll this ordeal has taken on our family.

Hotel Room was gross, not clean, wrong room. Then needed documentation for work that they refused to provide. Never returned calls or answered the phone on numerous attempts.

I stayed at strat on 5/30-5/31/2025 My room was a bit dirty when we first arrived. There was a used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door and the floors were not clean whatsoever. I had a king suite because I had my 3 year old and my 12 year old children with me and I do not smoke. I am allergic to weed and I dont vape and I simply dont smoke. At all! I would like to share my experience on 5/2/2025. Prior to traveling to Vegas, I contacted the hotel to see about possibly cancelling two nights on my reservation and rebooking for the lower price available online. The representative Richa was really rude and there was no definitive resolve. I hung up and called back to get Richard. I would like to share my experience from April 30, 2025, and I hope no one else has to endure what I went through. I had rented a suite, and everything was going well until my husband and I had a verbal disagreement. I admit our voices were raised a bit. I would avoid at all costs! Staying here is not worth the headache caused by poor customer service and misleading fees, despite some well renovated guest rooms. In short, a colleague and I booked rooms at the Strat as an affordable offsite location for a conference (based on a list price of $250 for 3 nights). I stayed one night on 11/9/2024- 11/10/2024 CHECKED IN 20 MINUTES EARLY WAS OFFERED AN " UPGRADE" THAT WAS A DAMN ROOM WITH NO AC ! THE SMELL OF WEED AND CIGARETTES WAS HORRID! THE PLUMBING DIDN'T WORK, I CALLED FOR EXTRA PILLOWS AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY LEFT. I CHECKED IN WITH MY WIFE AND 10 YEAR OLD SON NONE OF US SMOKE. Worst hotel experience ever for my first time in Vegas! I stayed at this hotel from 10/3/24 - 10/6/24 The entire hotel is covered with a very harsh smell from cigarettes and marijuana smell!
