One of the best Heritage Railroads you could visit. one visit does not do this railroad justice. went for a 45 minute behind 475 during reunion of steam and let me say such an experience. the staff and crew are very friendly and proud of their work and this group does so much to preserve and repair steam locomotives. dont even get me started on the detailed passenger cars. 10/10 got to do the mechanical shop tour next tine
Great afternoon of fun for the whole family.
In an age of nonstop news and gossip, the Strasburg Rail Road is the perfect getaway back to a simpler time. Disappointing experience. Paid to Much for what you get. 4 small tastings and 1 full glass. Whole train ride was only 45 minutes.
Really enjoyed our day at the Strasburg Rail Road this past Saturday. We did a shop tour, an excursion (regular one, not Thomas), and a cab experience on the 611 which was fantastic!!! We spied the 475 through an window while on our excursion ride. It was crazy busy there because of the Thomas event but we still had a blast. Worth the 375 mile drive.🚂
it is good train ride n they have very nice people. I think all the kids will have fun riding the train.
Great time at Day Out with Thomas!
