Worth the $$$ you get what you pay for.. I just changed my hairstylist after 16 years, it was a huge decision to make , but it was a good one. I read the reviews that Strands Salon received..and paid close attention to the reviews received by a stylist named Paul. I needed a change. I made an appointment for my usual highlight and cut. Great place! I just moved here from Boston, and needed to find a new salon. Needless to say, this is not an easy mission. After some disasters, and I mean from terrible hair cuts to bleached out horror scenes for coloring - I found Strands. From the service at the front desk to my cut and coloring, this is an A1 salon. Right place at the right time I happened to be in Wayland Square killing some time to meet a friend when I walked by Strands Hair Salon. Thinking I could use a haircut I peeked in the windows to observe it's operation. It looked expensive but I decided what the heck I got time let's check it out. Red Carpet ready I got married last May 07..I needed someone who could do my hair and possibly my make up. I was recommend to try Strands Salon by a co-worker, who is a client of Strands and sees Paul. WHAT A FIND!!! He designed a hairstyle, updo for me and he is also a makeup artist for Bedhead. Nice people I went there to kill time because I had my dog groomed close by. The people were nice to me I walked and had a trim done. The price was fair enough 15 bucks. They also sell extensions here for women. All lenghts and colors. Can be expensive going there.
