excellent – I've been here three times, for lobe, cartilage and nose piercing, i've had two different piercers, each time I left completely satisfied. The staff are super nice and talk you through every step, they clearly know what they're doing and are very hygienic. My piercing were quick and for the most part painless. I recommend this place to all my friends.

Nothing better :) – For 4 years now I have LOVED going to the Troutdale Straight to the Point. It has always been super clean, professional and relaxing. I've had my nose pierced, my tregus pierced and two "collarbone" anchor piercings and I have received nothing but the best care and information for all of these piercings. George has pierced everything but my nose and he has a way of making everyone (even the viewers/support) feel comfortable but especially the one undergoing the needle! Nothing But Attitude – I've done my research on this shop using city search and asking other people around town (surprising a lot of people haven't even heard of this place) but i thought id give it a shot. I also did some research into tygon which is what is primarily used in this shop (from what the piercer said) and was amazed that they charge so much for a little piece of tubing that you can get for $5.00 for 10 feet. At STTP we recently terminated 2 employees. We are positive this review was written out of spite. While the cost of Tygon reported is not accurate, all of our merchandise is sold retail. The price reflects the fact that it is maintained and changed out free of charge for the lifetime of the piercing.All jewelry comes with a lifetime guarantee.As for the attitude reported in this review, we encourage people to read other reviews to make an informed decision.
Straight to the Point is... well.. Straight to the Point – I got 2 piercings at STTP last summer while in Portland. I didn't realize how great it was until I was going to a Sounders game here in Seattle on Saturday, and decided to stop in a local shop in Pioneer Square to possible buy some new jewelry and maybe get my ear cartilage pierced.... Straight from a Mom – From a moms point of view I will NEVER take my daughter to another shop! Been there, done that and with not a very good outcome-no more! My daughter just had Microdermals done on both hips and they look great!!! Thank you George! He did a great job of expaining the process, joked with her to calm her nerves, and taught us great aftercare. I'm next!!! Thank you so much STTP and especially George!!!!!!!!

Absolutely amazing – I got my Monroe piercing here, and it was an excellent experience. I was talked through everything, and Nick was super patient even though I was freaking out. I would definately recommend this place to anyone who is planning on getting any kind of piercing. Simply the best place on the west coast, no doubt.

Highly Recommened Piercing Shop – STTP is one of the best piercing shops on the West Coast. The staff members are true artists- so if you don't have a design in mind count on them to create a unique piece of art on your body. Everyone there has been always professional, ready to answer any questions, or address any concerns you may have. This unique place will keep me coming back for more.

5 stars all around – My experience was awesome! I had been thinking of getting my lip pierced... When I went in the employees were all very nice and talked to me about the piercing... I went back and the piercer made me feel very relaxed, talked me through the 2 minute process, and gave me tips on proper cleaning etc. I strongly recommend this place for any piercings!
