Awesome piercing... – I initially chose Straight to the point because of the rave reviews on this site, and they really live up to the hype! I was a little nervous to get my nose pierced, but the entire staff was really supportive and ready to give their opinion and advice. The studio has moved to 3rd avenue, and they're open 'till 10 o'clock, so the info on this site is currently incorrect. Finally I have discovered my "point" – I have always been fascinated and into body modification. I have had many bad piercing experiences while seeking a studio i could totally trust. After searching, I came across Straight to the Point and wanted to buy new jewelry for a badly pierced industrial. Alec Bezzina, the owner of STTP, refused to sell me a barbell and advised me to take it out and said he would repierce it for me. Something New – Due to work, I am newly relocated to the Portland area. I decided to tour some of the areas piercing shops. I've been pierced many times, and had some SCARY experiences, in piercing/tattoo shops...Long story short-I went to 4 shops and I was not impressed, until I saw the "straight to the point" shop. A Learning Experience – I had been to Straight to the Point in Troutdale so while I was in Portland I decided to drop in and see this shop. It was there I met the owner Alec's, apprentice. I was going to get my ear pierced so I tought I would give his apprentice, Kimberly, so experience. The whole thing was a wonderful experience. Both of them were very professional and clean. Very professional – I was told by a friend about Straight to the Point. I called and asked several questions, which were all answered in a very professional manner. I have since been pierced at Straight to the Point several times, and also my daughter. It was very professional and completely sterile. Alec took his time with me and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Now I have recommended him to some of my close friends and they all have had good experience there as well. I highly recommend Straight to the Point.
I was pierced at Straight to the Point several times. It was very proffesional and completely sterile, unlike other places I have been. I was very impressed by the great service I recieved. I didn't feel intimidated at all. And they answered all my questions. It is a great place to get pierced and the piercers are great people too!!
