Love this place...open 24 hours! We absolutely love this store! We work midnights and we love that this store is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The cashier's are generally friendly and the store has most everything we are looking for. They have good deals on meat. However, if the meat is not on sale then it's rather expensive. Service while grocery shopping May I elaborate on the service at my local Strack & Van Til supermarket in Schererville, Indiana. Employees there have been taught the old-fashioned way - they ALL truly are NEVER opposed to going out of their way to help you. They honestly NEVER once have seemed anything less than happy to check in back-room stock for an item that is on sale but has an empty shelf. Something good radiates down from management at this store.
Best Groceries for the money They have a great selection on a variety of products. They have some of the best cuts of meats, and their produce is always fresh. The store is always very clean and the employees are very helpful when you need to find something. One of the best departments in the store, has to be their bakery. They have the best chocolate chip danish I have ever had. PROS: Selection of products CONS: Can be pricey
RecommendedI recommend Jeannine in the bakery for my go to person for all of my preparation for any cake. When I say awesome customer service Jeannine was fabulous and she answered all of my questions and every suggestion she made was actually what I was looking for. this is just a comment. I get it that you can't control the way people walk down the isles wrong way. however one lady about 45 age took her mask off. I just shook my head about it. didn't say a word. she started yelling at me. you can't even look at anyone anytime for fear of getting attacked
I am so thankful for ordering on line and having it delivered to my door, during this COVID 19 lockdown.
would it be possible to lysol cans aside for healthcare workers? Considering we are the ones needing them most due to the cdc recommendations on spraying our shoes and bags before entering the house. unfortunately, we are working and helping those that need it. when I finally get the opportunity to shop, it is past 6pm and all sanitizing sprays are gone. hoarders that sit at home with no exposure to virus or illness have access but no one thinks of those that need it to continue to serve the community. a little irritating if... read more
