MS Tommy at STR has taken care of my and my families cars for the past 10 or so years. Honest, fair and on time. I have recommended him to all of my friends and will continue to use his services.
THIEVES LIARS!! Avoid this mechanic as much as possible. It seemed like my car's clutch was about to go out with about 8000 miles on the new clutch system so I took it to this guy and wrote me up a quote for over $1000 for a replacement clutch kit plus a bunch of other useless things, and $75 for them to just look at my car. I can't even understand this guy's English and he just rambles on about how crappy my car is. They are awesome The dealer told my wife they wanted to rebuild her engine for 6K. These guys towed our car, looked at it and charged us $600.00 Car runs great. Totally trustworthy and honest about what needs to be done and what can wait. I highly recommend and already sent several other people there.
A MUST AVOID! Dishonest, unknowledgeable repair shop. This repair shop couldnt figure out that my oil pan was leaking around the gasket. So instead they pretended that someone had installed the oil filter incorrectly, then charged me to change my oil and steam clean the underside of my car. What a waste of money! Who the heck needs the underside of their car cleaned? Nobody! I had to go to a reputable repair shop to get the leak fixed right. Avoid this repair shop, there are plenty of alternatives around.
