Story Cottage is a very special place….it not only feels like a home, but almost feels like a hug. Every staff member is incredibly caring toward not only the residents but also toward us as family members. We feel that the heartfelt care and compassion given to our sister/sister-in-law in such a warm, loving home environment was the perfect place for her to live. Since opening May 1, 2024, my wife has been one of the 8 guests at Story Cottage. She has been part of the family, for the atmosphere is familial in every sense. If all the energy devoted to giving hugs could be converted to electric power, several homes could be lit for a year.

My wife has been a resident at Story Cottage for 8 months. I have absolutely no complaints. Considering how tough this is, that’s quite an accomplishment. The staff is extremely compassionate, caring, and patient. They handle even the inevitable difficult circumstances extremely well. They make it feel as if you are all family, this is part of your home, and you are in this journey together. I hope you never need this kind of help, but if you do, Story Cottage is home.
