My wife and I just purchase a new GMC truck from Stoops Buick and GMC just before the Christmas holidays. We drove two hours away to purchase the vehicle. By the time the deal was complete, the dealership was officially closed but our salesman Carlos and other personnel in the dealership stayed over and made sure that we got to take the vehicle home with us. I was very appreciative of service that we received and how the dealership went well beyond the call of duty.

We Have 2 very good experiences In buy new trucks from this dealership salesmen are very helpful and not at all pushy I would recomnend them to anyone!!!
Due to engine oil being over serviced, my vehicle experienced a lot of smoke coming out of the exhaust. My vehicle also experiencied rough idling. After I drained what appeared to be extremly dirty oil to the proper servicing oil levels, the smoke levels was significantly reduced and the rough idling stop. I paid for improper oil servicing. I will not be returning to Stoops in Plainfield.
I would like to rate it a zero. I went in to have door locks fixed. They said the tire sensor had to be fixed firstsince that light was on and deals with the computer diagnostics. So after replacing one tire sensor another had to be fixed. They said it would be a good idea to change all 4 since they only last so many years. So after changing the 4 tire sensors and over $600 they were not able to fix the door locks. They wanted to charge over $250 a door for another part that maybe they should have tried first instead of work... read more
I WENT TO STOOPS IN ORDER TO BY A GMC SUV. THEY SHOWED ME THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ALL THE GMC SUV'S BOTH BODY STYLE AND PRICE. THEY ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS I HAD REGUARDING THE DIFFERENT CARS. WE FOUND A COLOR COMBANATION I LIKED SIGNED THE LEASE AND WAS OUT IN 3 HRS. GREAT TO WORK WITH.
Tell me in the service department and Zack in sales were so very helpful. I got a great car at a good price from a knowledgeable, experienced, and on a sales person. I've taken my car in for oil changes and always been treated with respect and finished in a timely manner. Tony in-service is great!
