We were founded in 1986 by five friends in the Hardware industry who saw the need for a locally owned neighborhood hardware store. What started out as a 3000 square foot hardware mini-mart has now grown into a 12,000 square foot specialty hardware powerhouse. I am so pleased and grateful for the technicians at Stoneway Hardware Ballard- they have gone the extra mile to help with a problem twice Now- today I came in with a pair of MicroSpikes which my hiking buddy loaned me yesterday on a steep ice patch: a bracket broke on them whilst I was wearing them as my feet are smaller than his-- the Very Very Kind Clerk could not find a matching bracket to fix them--- SO HE MADE ONE!!!! Thank You So Much Adam--- RARE Service in these days!! So Appreciate This!!!!!!
Good customer service, but their prices are crazy. Only come here for emergencies. It's worth driving somewhere else If you are buying anything in quantity.
Staff are super knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommend.
Expensive. Very comprehensive fastener selection, as well as plumbing and other specialty supplies like welding. Sometimes they have stuff that you can't find anywhere else, but definitely not my first stop when looking for something from a hardware store.
