Very best tire shop one can find. Excellent in every respect.
Super-friendly and do a great job at very reasonable prices. (Get their VERY early during snow tire on/off season as the lines can be mindboggling.)
I agree with other people who've posted...Stones always makes things as easy on the customer as they can...they're fast, reasonable--and once you buy tires from them, you become "part of the family." I wish they'd take over the internet providers in Truckee (ATT in particular) and show them how a business should be run!
Absolutely the best tire shop I've ever been to. They have done numerous minor items for me over the years gratis. Always reliable and will get any tire pronto. I will never go anywhere else.
Beyond blown away but the service that Bob and his team provides at Stones. This morning, I had a semi-flat tire due to a lodged screw. Dropped my truck at 8am and at 9am I picked up the vehicle back from Stones. No Charge, but completely fixed. They understand how to be a local business and stand behind locals. All people, don't go to Reno for tires, stay here and get genuine service with a smile, some popcorn and a donut!

Traveling over the pass and unexpectedly found ourselves in need of Stones. The other customers who were there waiting were so kind and spoke highly of Stones (owner and techs) that it put us at ease. (not knowing the area and having another 188 miles to travel) Not only did Stones take great care of my car, but they got us back on the road quickly and covered the repairs. They did not have the studded snow tires in stock for a 2014 Subaru Outback when I came in there to get them. It is one of the most popular tahoe cars and they dont carry them in the store it is ridiculous. The price to special order was really high.
