This is an update of my previous review. Stonekastle continues denying homeowners right to inspect documents. Sometimes I am able to get some of documents; but when I ask something about them, there is no answer. I have been requesting minutes of meetings unsuccessfully. They are not being transparent with homeowners. Ms. Ovelar is not a homeowner in this community, therefore she is not entitled to any association information. She attends meetings hiding behind a black zoom screen to attend and try’s to fake herself for her son who is the owner. She impersonates her son to get documents which the association attorney is involved. Management deals strictly with the person that is on title of a unit therefore being a member. Absolutely horrible management company. Avoid them at all costs. They never follow up on work orders, and constantly say, "I put that work order in, let me check on it." Ask them the view their contract, you will never be provided an opportunity to view it. Ask them for their broker's license, and they won't provide it. This company needs be looked at seriously by the Department of Real Estate.
Stonekastle are not only unprofessional but they are not complying with the Law. According to the Association governing documents, the board of directors should meet at least quarterly but it does not happen. Not only that, Stonekastle does not notify with 4 days in advance of the meeting and does not publish the minute of the meeting within the timeframe specified in the Law. These people are the pits! My billing for Feb 2019 was for 352.00. (I have proof) Sent $352.00 Billing for March 2019 charge me the assessment( which I have paid since 2007) I paid that. This month I received a billing for 383.34 which includes a late fee for the $352.00 What makes me so angry is they make sure their mailing arrives on Friday after they close for the week-end. I called into StoneKastle today with a safety concern of a trespasser stuffing unknown items into a box next to our pool house. The assistant on the phone argued with me saying I couldn't be sure if the person belonged there and security was not available. I know what day the pool service and landscaping occur and this person did NOT belong. This also not a community or personal storage location. She even asked what the items were??? This is for a property named Cinnamon Hollow, the property has two patrols at night and we are 25 miles away and are not on site to find out who is putting something in the trash. We ask for the residents help because we are not onsite managers. The stairs need repairing and there is a special assessment to make all the repairs, many homeowners have not paid the assessment which stops the work from being done.
