I love this yarn & the people in the knitting group that I teach love it also. It has a good twist, shows stitches & cables beautifully, & has a good feel in your hand as you knit. I've visited Stonehedge Mill & was impressed with how gracious Deb & her family are. It is a must stop destination on my next road trip.
This is the best yarn I've ever knit with!! I've been knitting with it for over six years now and I can honestly say I never want to work with anything else. Great quality yarn that's easy to work with and can make anything from socks to hats to sweaters!
I love their Mill ends. Always makes a one of a kind item. At the craft shows I do, everyone always comments on how soft it is for 100% wool!
Received our most recent batch of yarn back from you just before Christmas (my Corriedale wool blended with Maple Smith's alpaca) - as always, it is exquisite! Couldn't be more pleased with the quality and service, excellent.
Probably my favorite wool yarn. The worsted is so soft, has great stitch definition and is a dream to work with. I'm so glad my local yarn shop carries it because I know I'll be buying more in the future =)
Buy far the best yarn I have ever used. Ever. The worsted weight is soft and yet very warm. We only have a few shops here in Oregon that carry it, but I will drive way out of my way if I'm able to to go purchase this yarn because I love it so much!
