We rented for 5 years starting under Covid. They didn’t paint, replace the carpet or clean prior to us moving in. We paid to have the carpets and house cleaned ourselves. Now that we moved they stuck us with cleaning, (even though we had the place professionally cleaned by a third party) and they charged us with painting the entire house.
