Wonderful! My son has been a patient here for 2 years. He has Autism and they are absolutely wonderful with him! They are understanding about his fears and anxiety and work very calmly with him! They always provide great care and communicate very well with patients and families!
We were referred to Kids 1st because our 6-year-old boy developed 8 cavities since his last cleaning. (Note to parents, keep flossing/brushing their teeth at least once a day. We learned the hard way that he wasn't doing a thorough job.) He was totally geeked out by the tablets available to play on. Another patient who has been there before showed him a bunch of "tricks" he could do on the tablet, which he thought was cool. He liked the place as soon as he walked in. My daughter has a lot of sensory issues and it has been a struggle to make sure she takes care of her teeth. We have been going to the practice for anout 2 years now and they have been so patient and helpful! We try to do a little more each visit and they really take their time making sure she is as comfortable as can be. I thought we were going to have to use a safety blanket to finish cleaning this last visit, but they have her a few more minutes and spoke to her about everything and were able to finish. My kids who are 6 and 4 had to have dental work done. The staff was so kind and gentle that my kids didn’t even notice they had work done. No tears and no drama. I am so thankful for such a great office.
Staff is great with kids and makes parents comfortable, too. :)
