Situated in New York's Stone Street Historic District, this tavern offers nostalgia galore, from the building's architectural detail to the cobblestone street where visitors dine alfresco. The tavern menu presents classic pub fare like burgers, sandwiches, salads and small plates while the bar slings a diverse mix of beers, wines and craft cocktails. On the weekends, Stone Street has a super Sunday Brunch where visitors can get unlimited Mimosas or Bloody Marys for a low price, something unusual in this part of Manhattan.

EVERYBODY MUST GO STONE! – A fun place after work and a cool place on weekends. Really nice, energetic and good-looking staff...LOL...food is much better than most pubs and I think it's the best place to cobble among the stones - more so than any other place along that stretch of street!
Fantastic Food – I love going back to Stone Street Tavern, The staff are very friendly, and the food, outstanding. Not your common pub grub!! From the Calamari, to the Lobster Mac 'n' cheese, everything was great, The Bar staff rock, great cocktails, good wine list and always friendly, this bar is head and shoulders above your average downtown bar!!
Editorial Review – With more of an emphasis on cozy than its Financial District peers, this eatery serves booze and food to many a Wall Streeter, as well as a regular neighborhood crowd.
Quiet on the weekend – Went on a saturday night to watch the game and have a couple. The bartender was cool, put the game we wanted on right away(there was like 4 other people in there) .We had wings which were very good, and mini burgers which were not so good.Stick to the regular burger-I've had it before and it's good. It's quiet on the weekend, which is kind of nice, and the staff is pretty cool.
Always Consistent – Have been working in the Downtown area for years and the Stone Street Tavern is one of my favorite places for lunch, dinner or just a drink after work. The menu offers solid choices that are always consistent and the staff works very hard to cater to your every need. You won't have to visit twice to be considered a friend.
After the market closes this is the place to be – Hands down best bar in the Financial District! Great atmosphere and awesome service. There is absolutely no reason to ever go anywhere else.
Having recently discovered this hidden little gem on stone street Ive returned many times. It appears to be the only spot on the block (which is full of bars and restaurants) to have any personaility and a cosy atmosphere. Staff are friendly and food is consisently good-especially the salmon! Even though this neighbourhood is populated with bars full of wall streeters and their egos Stone Street Tavern is refreshingly different and unintimadating. Well worth checking out!
Solid lunch spot – And such places are hard to find down here. Service was pleasant, dishes priced appropriately, and it was neither overly crowded or loud.
best sandwichs near wall street – I visted This Place about a week ago the menu is thought out and refreshing and the sandwiches are super creative and delicious. Service needs some work but the duck confit sandwich and the lobster quesidella made up for it. Thank you for making a Tuesday lunch so good. We will return again and again.
